ProEvolution Soccer 2011 reinvigorates the series with the mostadvancedset of improved game play additions, control options and tocatch upwith the evolution of the real-life soccer. Central to itstotal freedomof play, the game introduces a power bar for each playerthat allows theuser to determine the exact strength and placement ofevery pass andshot. Balls can now be spread absolutely anywhere withsurgicalprecision, with long balls into space, short passes to feet,andintricate one-twos allowing the player to dictate play and controlthetempo of a match.

Thisfreedom of play is alsoextended via AI routines designed to placeevery move and decision intothe player’s hands. No longer willassisted AI intervene during matches;users will now need to sense andreact to threats intuitively as opposedto chasing the ball; and passeswill not automatically reach the nearestplayer. Instead, routinesfacilitate complete control both of the playerand their chosen actionsin every respect to give the player sublimecontrol over every movement.

Game Features:

*TotalControl: The PES Production team has enhanced the 360-degreepassingratio, offering unprecedented levels of control over everypass, shot,headed ball, throw-in and through ball. This allows usersto pass theball into space, and move their play with total freedom.Players mustprecisely weight their passes and second-guess the runs oftheirteammates and exploit their movement, while lofted through-ballshaveaccuracy.
* Shot Stamina Gauge: In addition to the genericpowergauge, the Shot Stamina meter details the player’s exact leveloffitness. Constantly sprinting will affect the player’s movementsandwill have an adverse affect on his stats, with passes going awry andaloss of pace.
* Defender AI: Players now also hold theirpositionsnaturally, no longer chasing any ball that enters theirarea;preferring to close down the attacker and force them into amistake.
*Animation and Player Physics: The PES Production team hastotallyreworked every element of in-game animation. These additionswillbecome clear before even kick-off, with the players enjoyingfluid,natural movements, with more realistic acceleration and inertiathanever before. The physicality between players is also improved,whichwas a priority requested in PES forums. Jostling and blocking nowlooksstunning, while there is a larger variety of convincingtacklingstyles. Ambient animation also adds to the in-game atmosphere,asplayers adapt their running and movement styles in line with play.
*Speedof Play: The new level of control means that the game enjoys amoreconsidered pace of play, which varies dependent on situations. Thegamewill burst into life as counter-attacks come into play, butplayers candictate the pace via slow build up or exploiting availablespace tosurge forward. It is harder to make long runs from midfield,andsuccessful play will depend on making quick passes to make room.
*ImprovedGoalkeepers: In keeping with the basis of total freedom ofmovement,players now have more control over their ‘keeper. Thisgreater controlallows for quick roll-outs, instinctive saves, pinpointaccuracy withgoal kicks, and precision ball distribution to makequicker breaks orplaying down the clock easier.
* Over 100 hours ofmotion capturedfootage. Every aspect of player movement has beenreworked, with moreorganic runs, turns, throw-ins, tackles, andinteraction. The wayplayers speed up and slow down is also morenatural; while replaysdisplay elements of motion blur that bring yoursaved goals to vividlife.
* Tactics and Strategy: The PESProduction team has implementeda ‘Drag and Drop’ mechanism that can beused in every aspect of teammanagement, not just substitutions orformation changes. These settingsare also animated to promote betterunderstanding of the plays that havebeen altered.
* Feint Settings:The Game allows users to map keyskills to a specific control area,making them available via the secondstick or via specific buttonpresses, making them more accessible thanever before. Master LeagueOnline: Master League will offer a realchallenge, as users are invitedto try their hand against other managersonline. PES 2011 will mark theonline debut for its much-loved MasterLeague element, with playersbidding against each other for the world’sbest players, and attemptingto build a squad that can compete with thebest against online peersall over the globe.
